2. How is the course assessed?
You will be required to submit assignments and records of practical assessments in a workplace context. Accordingly, evidence portfolios are submitted to show your competence and professionalism.
3. Do I need to be working already to take this course?
Yes. You will required to have access to at least 2 candidates at a workplace to complete the practical aspects of the course. If you do not currently have work placement, you can choose to complete the theoretical parts first and wait until you have candidates to assess. You can also opt for the Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
4. Can I assess classroom-based skills with this award?
No. This award focuses on workplace competence only. For vocational assessments, you’ll need the Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement award or a full CAVA.
5. Is this qualification recognised across the UK?
